Description

This very pratical Indian chest has metal straps and catch to the lid , inside opens up and can be used as a blanket box or just general storage ideal for a large hallway to store boots/shoes.

Normally these chests are made from Teak, Rosewood or Jackfruit wood, Indian chests & trunks were originally used for storing valuables such as textiles, jewellery & money that might be used as dowry for marriages. Indian military chests are usually made in teak wood or rosewood and are brass bound.
