Description

A rare Poole Pottery tile designed by the artist Edward Bawden circa 1922 from the 'Chase' series.

It measures 13cm square and is hand painted in red and black on a cream crackle-glaze ground. There are a couple of very small fleabites to the right-hand edge - otherwise in very good condition. Remains of old cement fixative to the reverse.
