Description

A late Victorian cast iron table of narrow rectangular form, with an ornate base of pierced foliate scrollwork and acanthus detail, finished in a softly aged white painted surface and retaining a solid single-piece mahogany top with moulded edge and rounded corners, later refinished to a warm tone.

Substantial and weighty, it is of a type often used in Victorian garden rooms and conservatories, and works equally well today as a small kitchen or breakfast table, or as a decorative table in a hall or garden room.

Very good antique condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
