This is an impressive, one-of-a-kind, nickel-plated bronze sculpture. This superb bronze art piece sits on a black metal base with spotted duck egg accents with the nickel plate adding a wonderful luster to the art piece. There are some gentle signs of rubbing on the fingers but this only adds to the stunning piece. This amazing vintage artwork is in the form of 17 arms, very much in a Buddhistic/Hindi taste with the hands in the Mayura Mudra ("Peacock") position. In yoga, this mudra is called the Prithvi (Earth) mudra. Meditating in this mudra helps increase patience, tolerance, and concentration.

Provenance: The sculpture was acquired from an English gentleman that worked and lived in Geneva and Brussles in the 1980's – early 1990’s. He acquired the art piece from an art/antique gallery during his period of residency in Europe.
