Description

A beautiful William and Mary oyster stretcher table dating 1690,the top is inlaid with circles and hearts and banded in holy and has a wonderful colour and patina.The drawer again in olive oyster and banded in olive wood ,it has no handles, but an original key to open the drawer.The shaped stretcher veneered in walnut,the barley twists although not original have been on there a long while ,standing on later bun feet.
Overall a wonderful piece of good colour and patina.

All restoration is carried out by ourselves in our workshop using traditional methods and always trying to keep the item original as possible.
