Victorian Silver Fruit Knife Hallmarked for Sheffield 1864
and with the maker`s mark - JA, for James Adams,
Barr Street, Birmingham.


A superb, medium sized fruit knife in absolutely unused condition.
The blade opens and closes correctly - snaps at 90 degrees, snaps at fully open, and snaps closed.
Shaped

Plain shaped Mother of Pearl scales to both sides, decorated on the face with foliage and berries. The other side decorated with two sunbursts.
Long pointed blade with no decoration.

Beautiful condition. 159 years old. No undescribed faults.

Open length:- 122 millimetres / 4.80 inches.
Closed length:- 69 mms. / 2.72 ins.
Weight:- 15.8 grams.
