Description

A 17th Century Oak Yorkshire / Derbyshire Backstool Chair.

Measuring approximately 38" X 18" X 16" (height, width, depth) with a seat height of 18".


A good 'crusty' example, heavy in weight, fairly diminutive in size and with rich dark patina. The shaped back crests carved with voluted scrolls and grotesque heads. The uprights with scrolled terminals.

Looks like original seat.
