Tambor Topped Ink Desk Tidy

Description

Lovely item with an unusual tambor lid which opens to access two ink wells and pen rest. There is a drawer which has a carved bone handle. I believe the wood to be stained pine.

Item measures L 7" W 5.5" H 5"

I would date it to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. No makers marks and the inkwells have silver plated parts.
