This is a Sterling Silver Childs Plate, Bowl and Cup Set by Gorham of New York City, high quality silversmiths since 1868.
The set depicts the scene of Noah and his wife watching the animals arriving two by two to enter the Ark, and all three pieces have floral decoration on the outer and upper rims.
The set is dated around 1933 – 41, a period in which Gorhams didn’t stamp a date letter or symbol on their pieces.
The plate is 8” or 200mm. in diameter and weighs 303.0 grams.
The bowl is 5” in diameter and weighs 172.0 grams.
The cup is 3” in diameter and weighs 105.0 grams.
Total weight of the set is 580.0 grams.
