18CT Gold English Fusee Pocket Watch, c1867

Description
An Antique 18CT Gold Victorian English Fusee Pocket Watch made by Burgess of Ipswich and dating from c1867.The 18 carat solid gold case is in excellent condition with lovely decorative engraving and a central cartouche to the rear that is free of initials.
It is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "JW", the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "m "for 1867/68.
The English fusee movement is in good working order. It is signed by the maker CS Burgess of Ipswich. The movement is key wound and set with the key provided.
