Description

A very good quality, large, heavy, Antique Georgian English Sterling Silver Teapot made in London and dating from c1809.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "TG/IG/IC" for Thomas & Joseph Guest & Joseph Craddock, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "O" for 1809/10.
It measures 10 3/4" inches (275mm) in width (handle to spout) and 5 3/4" inches (150mm) in height.
The weight is 813g/28.7oz/26ozt
In excellent condition. There is evidence of possible an old repair at the front end of the lid but barely noticeable. Other than that, no damage, dents nor repairs, a couple of very light surface scratches but showing very little signs of wear.
