Description

This is a beautiful original late art nouveau watercolour by well known artist George Henry Broomfield. Titled June Roses, it depicts an elegant lady carrying a bowl of roses in front of a mirror. The image is framed with yellow roses. The painting is signed bottom right George H Broomfield and dated June 25th 1917. The painting is watercolour and body colour on paper, the sheet is 20cm x 15cm.

Condition.
The condition is fair to good. There is toning to the edges of the paper, most notably the top and right-hand side. There is some creasing to the paper especially the two right corners. There are two small tears to the bottom left of the page.
