Description

A very well made substantial trunk or possibly blanket box.

Original distressed crackled painted finish on a black background ( very unusual and attractive ).
The interior is lined in beech wood or possibly mahogany and is very clean. The main construction is of pine and it sits on two long runners underneath, so slightly off the floor.

One can just make out the rubbed lettering on the lid, which seems to say " CRAWFORD ADVENTURER "

It has three brass hinges, a brass stay and heavy duty iron handles.

This would sit well in a period or contemporary home and would be useful in a number of interior situations.
A very desirable trunk.
