Description

This fine pair of Victorian oak desk chairs were made by reputable Edinburgh cabinet makers
John Taylor and sons.
The chairs have an upholstered padded back rest, scroll arm rests, dish turned seat, and raised on spindles legs.
The chairs are stamped to the underside- John Taylor Edinburgh Manufacturers, also bearing a stamped number to the underside- D8604.

John Taylor and sons Antique furniture is always constructed to a high standard.
In 1852 the company were appointed cabinet makers and upholsterers to her majesty the queen.
