Description

This quality antique ladies walnut writing bureau is made by the famous Glasgow cabinet makers Wylie and Lochhead,
The desk has a fall front writing surface resting on two pull out slides, opening to reveal five pigeon holes above three small drawers, the outside of fall front has an ormolu escutcheon and inlaid crossbanding,
above two graduated oak lined drawers with brass teardrop handles, above a shaped apron,
raised on carved cabriole legs and terminating on clove and hoof feet,
Bears makers label to reverse.
