'Mr Jeremy Fisher' Model N0. 1157 was created by Arthur Gredington for production at the Beswick Factory as part of their early range of Beatrix Potter figurines. This example is of the first version, first variation with spotted legs. It has a BP2 gold oval backstamp, was first issued in 1950 and ran until 1972 with various backstamps. It is 3" (7.6cm) high. It has minor crackling to the glaze (not uncommon in the early pieces of this range) but is otherwise in very good condition, without damage or restoration.
