Description

This attractive and functional item comprises a silver-plated stand with central cut glass jar and rising lid together with a preserve spoon, which lies across a rest. The base shows a makers mark for James Farquharson of Sheffield. The spoon is by Barker Brothers of Birmingham (1885-1907). The piece is 19cm high with a width of 9.5cm. There is some evidence of wear to the base beneath the jar. Overall the condition is very good.
