Description

World War 1 era MK 1 hand grenade which has been turned into a candlestick,c1916. I have seen many examples of trench art but haven't seen this before. A full size grenade has been joined by a stem to a half grenade with the void on top able to support a candle. The grenades are obviously deactivated and are void inside and the metal has taken on great colour.
