Description

Fine quality 19th century Chinese bronze censer,c1890. Beautifully presented it is well cast and heavy at 1.1kg. It stands on 4 legs, has lovely stylised handles and a large Fo Dog/Temple Lion finial on the lid. All of the 4 sides are decorated with panels on the main body depicting traditional scenes such as a dragon, scholar under a tree, warrior on horseback etc. The bronze has taken on great colour/patina.
