Description

Fine 19th century human skull,c1890. The skull has small pins inserted around the rim and catches to the side to hold the skull cap, so was clearly used as a study aid in a medical school. It has taken on the great mellow colour you would expect from an old example. Overall condition is good with no obvious issues, there are 4 teeth present which wobble slightly in their sockets when pressure is applied, but this is always the case where the soft tissue is no longer present.
