Description

Fine quality pair of large late 19th century Japanese bronze vases, c1890.They are well cast and beautifully decorated with central panels depicting birds, Cranes, foliage etc. The panels have the same image but facing the opposite direction so they are a true pair. In addition to the large panels literally every inch is covered in detailed decoration. The vases have stylised snake handles and character marks to the base.
