Description

Early 20th century African bronze Dogon (Mali) tribal container/casket,c1920. Most likely a ceremonial piece it is well cast in the traditional lost wax method and is heavy at 1kg. Presented in figural form as a lizard or crocodile it is nicely decorated with more lizards/crocodiles. It has great colour/patina and overall condition is good.
