Description

An antique 19th Century Indian bronze/brass statue of a Hindu deity, c1890. It is nicely cast and heavy for its size, with good detailing and colour/patina.

There is a peacock/mythical bird finial on the rear which moves when pressure is applied (we suspect this has always been the case, as there is a hand-hammered rivet securing it to the main statue).

Overall condition is good, with only minor wear/rubbing in line with age and use. Please refer to the detailed photographs.
