Description

Two large Mid 20th century African Benin tribal bronze busts, c 1950. Probably depicting King/Queen figures these are large examples, heavy (7.9 kg combined weight) and cast well in the traditional lost wax method. They are not a true pair but are similar in terms of subject matter, age, size etc. Overall condition is good with only minor wear and rubbing. Both have aged well with good colour/patina.
