Description

Antique 18th century deer bone hunting powder flask, 1780. This is a quality old example with great scrimshaw decoration depicting a hunter on one side and a stag on the other. It has a small metal ring presumably for hanging off a belt or clothing. The colour /patina is wonderful and clearly shows its age. Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear / small losses/chips and cracks , all as you would expect from a piece that is 250 years old. I assume at some point it would have had a wood/material bung in the bottom? Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to view the item.

Size: 45 cm long x 28 cm wide x 19 cm deep . I will happily ship worldwide.
