Unusual engraved commemorative silver trowel. Engraving:"Presented to Wm Green Junr Esq by the trustees on the occasion of the laying the foundation stone of the Primitive Methodist Chapel and Day School Spen Colliery 6th Oct 1866"
Marks for Henry Wilkinson and Co., Sheffield, 1865. Two marks on reverse SB and 1003.
