Unusual Chinese low bowl. Yellow ground, famille verte on biscuit.Decorated in Chinese taste in centre with a qilin - a mythical hooved creature. Broken and repaired in the past with a Japanese kinsugi repair (gold dust), adding to its past history. Probably 19th Century but could be earlier. An eyecatching piece.
