Highly decorative pair of Persian 19th century chargers - enamel decorated with peacocks, the symbol of Persian monarchy. Both bear an incised fish mark and one with hand written label on the reverse - "Persian Plaques imported and exhibited at Great Exhibition 1861" Reverse sides are dirty and show signs of crazing and possible repairs. 33cm diameter.DateLate 19th Century
