Konya region,central anatolia,2nd half 18th century. Hard to find these rugs from this period. Nice to find an aquamarine central ground colour instead of the more usual reds. Pale blues and yellow also better. Has had both ends rewoven and the sides,numerous reweaves,all imaged,all historic. Many images of the back of the rug. 6 foot 8 inches x 3 foot 9 inches. 203cm x 114cm. At widest points. Fringes not measured in size. Wool construction with the reweaves with cotton warps. Still with presence and look great hung from walls. Price takes into account it isn''t in perfect condition
