Description

Splendid large cased taxidermy display of pheasants by S.King of Hereford c.1910. Three cock pheasants in a naturalistic arrangement, presented on artificial rocks with grasses heathers and ferns against a blue painted background. Wooden case glazed at the front and sides, with moulded cornice and base and a gilded moulding to the front. Paper label on the rear for S.King Taxidermist, 78 Elgin St Hereford. Some minor wear to case, generally very good condition.
Dimensions: Width 39½" Height 31" Depth 11".
