Description

Large mirror with a beautiful floral decorated frame c.1890. Bevelled mirror plate (33″ x 23″) within an unusually deep wooden box frame. Lovely carved and painted decoration to the front of superbly observed native wild flowers, including poppies and cornflowers, against a lattice background. Moulded and gilded slip frame to the inner edge. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Could be hung either landscape or portrait aspect.
Dimensions: width 45″, depth 4½”, height 36″.
