Description

Late 19th.c. Brass Bucket c.1880. A coal box perhaps? It would certainly look great stood beside a large fireplace and would make a great home for all the matches, firelighters, sticks etc needed to get a good fire going. Alternatively how about using it as a wine bucket to keep bottles in ice? Whatever the use it deserves its place on looks alone. In the manner of the great Georgian designer Robert Adam, modeled as classical urn mounted with rams heads, laurel leaf swags and handles. On shaped legs terminating in a good hoof foot, joined with a molded stretcher. Excellent condition.
Dimensions diameter 15″, height 26″.
