An English Modernist / Cotswold School oak chapel chair prototype by Gordon Russell c.1960.Provenance: From the Gordon Russell family estate, passed down the family by descent.
Condition: Offered in very good original condition with evidence of wear to the finish consistent with age and use. No evidence of any significant damage or repair. The frame stands firm and strong with no movement. Refinishing can be offered - prices on request.
Dimensions: Width 50cm, Depth 42.5cm (at the seat) & Height 71.5cm (at the back) or 41.5cm to 43cm at the seat.
