Description

George V Wilkinson sword with solid pattern hilt in its leather field scabbard. Has a pierced, plated hilt with solid patent hilt grip with silver wire binding. Broad, single edged straight blade marked 'Patent Solid Hilt Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London', Also marked with the initials 'R.M.S' and with a private crest. The blade is acid etched with GVR and foliage and is numbered 42890. In generally good sound condition but with some slight rust staining.

Approximately 103cm overall and blade 84cm.
