Description

George VI British Naval Officers sword in its brass mounted leather scabbard. Has a gilt brass hilt with lion pommel and white painted, brass, wire bound, shagreen grip. Has its original silver wire sword knot. Drop guard engraved 'P.R.Michell RN'. Heavily plated, single edged blade with George VI cipher and fouled anchor. In good sound condition but blade has small areas of heavy pitting through plate.

Approximately 94.5cm overall and blade 79.5cm.
