Description

Late 17th/Early 18th century stag horn Hunting Hanger probably German made. Has a Stag Horn grip and with cast brass mounts. Guard decorated with foliage and winged angel. Curved, clipped back blade which is impressed with a Running Wolf mark on both sides. Some light pitting to blade and wear overall but in sound condition. Note that there is o scabbard with this item.

Approximately 61cm overall and blade 49cm.
