Description

George V Infantry Officers sword by Hawkes. Note there is no scabbard with this sword. Has a silver plated pierced hilt with GVR and a silver wire bound shagreen grip. Acid etched, single edged blade with GVR cipher, foliage and Royal Coat of Arms. Numbered 8185 and marked English made. Blade is marked as by Hawkes and co, Saville Row. In generally good condition but some patches of wear to finish.

Approximately 97.5cm overall and blade 82cm.
