Description

George V Royal Engineers Officers sword. Note there is no scabbard with this sword. Pierced nickel silver guard and backstrap with silver wire bound shagreen grip. Acid etched blade marked with Royal Engineers, GVR, Crown and coat of Arms. Also marked with the original owners name of 'A.Carr' and '? D.R.E'. Marked with 'Sword ?????? to the War Office'. In good sound condition but some wear to blade.

Approximately 98cm overall and blade 82.5cm.
