WWI Large German brass shell case / umbrella stand

Description
WWI Large German brass shell case which would make an ideal umbrella/stickstand. Marked on base Polte Magdeburg July 1918. Also marked 48 SP455. Shell case in good polished condition with one slight dent to rim.Approximately 16cm diameter and 70.5cm high
