Description

19th Century French Gladius sidearm in it's original leather brass mounted scabbard. Cast ribbed brass hilt with various markings. Has a broad, spatulate blade which id marked Jean on both sides. Also marked with markers mark on blade and hilt. Scabbard is stamped with a number. In good condition overall and with slight age wear.

Approximately 64.5cm overall and blade 48.5cm.
