Description

Victorian Rifle Officers sword by Wood in its original steel scabbard. Has a copper wire bound shagreen grip and a pierced gothic guard with the Rifles Bugle logo. Etched, single edged, curved blade etched Volunteer, VR, Crown and foliage. Also marked E.Woods & Son, Bow St, London. In good sound condition with dark patina to the exterior and polished blade.

Approximately 92.5cm overall and blade 75.5cm.
