Description

Late Victorian/early 20th century Rifle officer's sword in its leather field scabbard. Has a steel gothic hilt with Rifle bugle to guard and with a silver wire bound shagreen grip. Plain single fullered blade with etched panel with makers name and address - J. Langdon & Sons, Duke St, Liverpool. In good sound condition for age but overall pitting to blade.

Approximately 100cm overall and blade length 83cm.
