An exquisite late 18th Century Dutch Marquetry Glazed Cabinet, on stand. Circa 1780-1800.

This stunning ornate display cabinet features foliate inlay on both upper and lower sections in fabulous walnut, with leaf motif and floral patterns creating wonderful symmetrical displays. The base section sits over four hexagonal formed legs, over bun feet, which are united by a scroll shaped stretcher all around. Three shelves sit within, ideal for delft plates and decorative items.

Though no original key is present, the piece features a decorative brass escutcheon plate on the glazed upper, and decorative lower sections.
