'The Hunting Party' by George Morland C.1790

A fabulous original 18th Century oil on canvas, laid to panel, by British artist, George Morland, C.1790.This beautiful medium-sized painting, depicts a hunting party taking refreshments outside of an inn. There are three labels at the rear of the painting including the artists' signature and a label attributing it to being part of a larger collection at Oxford University somewhere in its timeline.
The painting is set within a period gilt frame, and has had light preservative restoration, including being laid to panel.
