Description
A very attractive pair of oil on panel portraits by Austrian artist Ferdinand Krumholz (1810-1878).This beautiful pair depict a Gentleman and his wife in typical middle class regency attire. The couple's clothing and signet ring on the Gentleman's little finger indicate that they were probably of wealth and good standing.
Each portrait is signed one in the bottom left hand corner, and the other in the lower right hand corner. They are set within simple gilded frames, with a small edge decoration around the perimeter.
