1920's / 1930's drop arm chesterfield style sofa,
re upholstered 5 years ago, by craftsman, new webbing, springs, cleaned and reused horse hair, all hand stitched. Hardly used in the 5 years as owner did not collect the sofa has been sat in workshop ever since. Still solid, no movement in frame, covered in a grey / blue velvet. On bun style feet. Arm work perfectly and does not drop on it's own. O n the down side, on the in back there is a repair, it was torn when being moved, hand stitched repair to velvet. no that notice able now. Very heavy sofa.
