A selection of five mid century wall mounted units from Beaver & Tapley 33 range c1970's.

Comprising of:-

Glass Fronted Display Cabinet (84cmW x 26cmD x 56cmH)
Record Cabinet / Cocktail Cabinet (84cmW x 40cmD x 40.5cmH)
Drop Down Fronted Desk Unit (84cmW x 40cmD x 40.5cmH)
Drawer Unit (84cmW x 39.5cmD x 15.5cmH)

Beaver & Tapley in collaboration with Robert Heritage designed the Tapley SL range in the 60's, followed by the Tapley 33 range in the 70's.
Inspired by the mid century shelving systems supported by ladders, they decided to develop a metal wall bar with all Tapley 33 pieces so that the cabinets and shelves could be fixed to walls and appear 'floating' with no means of support.

In really good original condition. There are signs that the glass fronted cabinet and desk unit had internal lighting at some point, but has since been removed.


Our stock items are carefully selected by myself and I only buy good quality items which may need small repairs, a clean and a polish. I don't buy any items that need major restoration, but any loose joints are re-glued. Occasionally, some items may have small amounts of historic extinct woodworm, never enough to affect the integrity of the item, and is always treated as a matter of course. We try to describe and show our items the best we can, and we use studio lighting which sometimes lightens the colour slightly on some of the furniture. All lamps are rewired and PAT tested. Every item we sell we would have in our home (some of them have been!!) It is impossible to describe every item fully, so please feel free to email or call for more information or any queries you may have. The items will have no major defects but will show signs of normal age related wear and use. I would prefer the items to show its life rather than strip it and re-polish it, as it's only original once!
