Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Workbox Table and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a squared edge to the top above a single mahogany lined drawer with various compartments for cottons etc with working lock and key and with four turned finials to each corner. This is above a mahogany framed support which houses the slide out work box for wools etc and which is covered in a pale blue satin fabric ( better than shown on photograph). It stands on single turned bulbous support on four shaped legs with a scrolled foot with turned finial to the centre.

Measures 29" high x 14.5" deep x 20" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
