Description
Lovely Antique George 1st Medium Oak Coffer and dating form aorund 1720. It has a plank top with moulded edge above a deep carved frieze and three panels and stands on stile feet. It has panelled sides and is hand & peg joinedIn very good condition with a lovely deep rich colour and patination to the medium oak oozing all the charm and character of the Georgian Country Oak Period. Please note that the plank top has a very 'slight smile' to one side. This is age related and in fact adds to its charm and authenticity.
