Description

Antique Late George 111 Mahogany COMPACTUM and dating from around 1810. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a polished top with cross banded edge and above two central panelled doors with brass divider and working key ( the key also fits the drawers). The doors open to reveal five sliding and removable tray drawers which are oak lined with mahogany fronts. To either side there are four graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with turned knob handles. It stands on a deep plinth base and dismantles for ease of transporting.

Measures: 49" high x 24" deep x 86" wide and internal depth 18.5"

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
